First, what tissue is this?  Second, what is the underlying process responsible for these findings?

  1. Nice work. Vosbeck scores again. It's diabetic retinopathy! Notice the thickened artery engulfed by fibrous glial stroma. The ganglion cell layer is also taking a hit.
